The custom message cake was supposed to be delivered before 4pm. The cake was delivered on time that evening, and the cake did not have a custom message. Since this was a 40th milestone birthday, the surprise get-together didn't have a cake message to celebrate with. It is COVID-19 season and I understand that there are huge supply and logistics challenges and I appreciate that you were still open.
